Wedding Bells
I like keeping the "preparation" shots in black and white. It makes the album so interesting. When the wedding starts it's a surprise of color!
I completely agree Makenzie. Never go ANYWHERE without a 44 oz!
Three generations. So sweet, her grandmother brought her jewelry to her.
Cutest boots with her dress!
A little help from a friend.
And so we begin....
Gorgeous, simple cake.
It's all in the details!
Gifts went into this beautiful classic car.

Holy Fall Y'all!
I know it's been a while since I posted, but this is what this fall has felt like!!
Now, don't think I'm complaining! I just need to get my clients their photos before I worry about posting! But I promise they are coming!!

Little Ali
I've got a near 2 year old laying on my left arm so the pictures will have to speak for themselves.
Baby Ali is 10 weeks here. Much older than most at their first session, but she was wonderful!
my favorite!

Miss Torrey
This little doll is Torrey, after two boys her mama got a girl.
She is just as sweet and mellow as can be. I finally broke my "wake up the baby and keep him awake" streak. She slept soundly the entire session.
Her big brothers.
I've had this awesome tree trunk vessel that I've tried to use multiple times but either the babies are too chunky or too tall to fit comfortably. Little bitty Torrey fit just right!
This is my favorite from the session. I was setting my camera and saw those cheeks begin to twitch. I was so lucky to be ready enough to start shooting.
Lucky mama now has ruffles and bows occupying her life. Isn't her diaper cover adorable?!

Baby Tate
I broke my streak with the last baby I had a session with, but for a while I was on a roll waking them up and keeping them awake. Thank goodness, like Mr. Tate they've had a pleasant disposition.
Awake babies are just as cute as sleeping ones, but they wiggle an awful lot and you can't get still hands or back fat wrinkle pictures.

Lil Stockton
I'm moving forward, trying to learn the science of color and light, especially as it applies to skin. It took me about 4 times longer to do these photos and I turned out about 1/2 as many as I usually do in a session, but if I were a client I'd much prefer high quality portraits to ok quality with more quantity.
His Mama's my cousin, so she won't mind anyway. If she does she's still stuck with me at family gatherings (love you Brianne :)...
So this is my first journey into RGB and cmyk territory and watching casts in shadows and luminance, blah blah blah...
Just a few short weeks ago my babies were off in color. EEEK! It's honestly a little painful to get better. Makes me want to go back and re-edit my past clients' photos. Just keep having babies and getting married, taking family photos. They'll only get better!

I didn't remove any of the red from his face in this shot. :)
